Used 2013 BMW 135is 6MT Convertible Dinan Stage 2 w/ Warranty for sale in Chicago, IL

Wow - super rare find, in outstanding condition!

2013 BMW 135is - not a single one available within 500 miles on Autotrader, only three listed nationwide.

Mine is a six-speed, manual transmission convertible (for you BMW fans out there, it's an E88 N55...). It's the "carbon black" premium paint color, shows as a really dark / midnight blue. It already has a bunch of M-series options and the Dinan Stage 2, including tuned exhaust. This beast basically has the power and handling of a 1M, and those cars are unicorns - impossible to find for sale. Original list price was $58k, before all of the upgrades! (See the Monroney sticker in the pics.)

Tons of proactive maintenance, with service records, including:
- Oil filter housing gasket replaced (common failure point on BMWs)
- Valve cover gasket replaced
- Oil plan gasket replaced
- Transmission replaced (under warranty, was notchy getting into 2nd gear)
- Front brakes and rotors replaced, brake fluid flushed and replaced with BG Super DOT 4 (RBF 600)
- Transmission fluid upgraded to Redline MT
- Air filter and cabin air filter replaced
- Rear differential fluid service
- BG GDI induction service (removes carbon deposits that build up over time)
- Front-end alignment completed
- New battery and Intelligent Battery System installed
- New spark plugs
- Replaced coolant expansion tank (another typical failure point on these cars)

The stock BMW 135is with Technology and Premium packages has a ton of cool stuff. Rear parking distance sensors. Navigation system. Bluetooth for calls / media. Run flat low profile tires (plenty of tread left). HD radio, and available satellite radio. Power seats, and driver's seat features power-adjustable side bolsters for "spirited" driving.

Lots of upgrades, in addition to the Dinan Stage 2, including:
- OEM Carbon Fiber diffuser ($1400 from BMW) and OEM Carbon Fiber mirror caps (originals also available)
- Carbon Fiber splitter and aftermarket spoiler (see pics) from eBay
- Red painted brake calipers
- ZHP shifting knob
- 3M ceramic tint all around, including windshield
- Clutch delay valve (CDV) delete mod (faster / smoother shifting)
- 1.25" trailer hitch (no wiring harness) - why, because I like to bring my bike places and this fits my rack!
- US Millworks front license plate bracket (mounts on tow hook bracket - no bumper damage!)

I've priced this at the top of the Kelley Blue Book range, because:
- Private party sale, not a sketchy dealer who's trying to flip a ragged out car
- Super clean car - no smoking, no pets, never been raced / tracked and I don't let the kids eat in it
- Tons of upgrades to the original outstanding car, makes this even more unique
- Extended after market mechanical breakdown insurance (e.g., warranty) to 100k miles included
- Clean CarFax - one minor accident years ago, low speed and fully repaired (police report available by request)
- Service records in hand, and consistent / recent / documented service because I take car of my cars
- Original manuals and both key fobs / remotes (that's unusual all by itself...)

I'm open to reasonable offers, but please don't waste your time or my time with a low-ball. I love driving this car, and I'm not in a hurry to sell it. When the snow flies I'll stick it in the garage - in the spring I'll either decide to keep it through the summer (a convertible BMW in the summer - paradise!) or will list it again then.
