Vehicle Description
If you're looking at this you may already know that 2013 was the last year of the 3/4 ton (2500) Suburban. If you want a heavy duty chassis to haul the crowd and tow the toys this is the rig to do it.
This rig is in great shape and has been very well maintained. It was a Fire Chief's Suburban for most of its life so it has a couple antenna mounts on the roof but you can tell by the pictures and even more so in person that this unit was taken care of and not abused. All the upholstery is in great shape. The only thing that was worn was the drivers seat bottom so I replaced both the seat cover and also the seat foam with new replacement parts. The carpet is all in great shape because it has always had full coverage floor mats.
This has seating for nine because the front row center console folds up into a ninth seat when needed. It has triple zone heating and air conditioning with separate controls for the driver, passenger, and back seat passengers. It has the Autotrac transfer case so you can shift between 2wd High Range, 4wd High Range, 4wd Low Range, Automatic, and even netural in case you want to flat tow it. It has remote keyless entry and remote release for the rear hatch. Power locks and windows. It has the factory trailer brake controller and of course the factory receiver hitch. (I don't think it has ever towed anything because the paint inside the receiver hitch is still all there.) It has XM Radio and 12 volt power ports and usb power ports. It has cruise control on the steering wheel and also steering wheel controls for the audio system. It of course has the 6.0 liter gasoline V8 and automatic transmission. Great high quality matched tires with lots of tread and a new spare. Factory roof rack and adjustable factory roof rails for mounting extra gear up top.
I love Suburbans and when the fire department was selling it I couldn't pass it up but reality set in and my driveway is a bit overcrowded and I only have two kids so far so my crew cab trucks handle us just fine. =)
Let me know if you want to take a look.
Thanks,
Brian
