Vehicle Description
This is my recently deceased (7/2022) husband's car. We just do not need three vehicles. This car has mostly highway miles since we bought it a few years ago. He drove to Binghamton or Ithaca to work. The car was fully gone over by our mechanic (Robinson's Repair in Marathon, NY), with a clean bill of health, save some surface rust-see photos. It's a 2013 Chevy Malibu LTZ. Miles are just over 126K. During the height of the pandemic it stayed home and he worked remotely.
We are asking $9700.00 or best reasonable offer.
We own a farm but this car was never used as a farm vehicle-we all know how that goes, this was the more 'fancy' car and he made sure it stayed that way. No chaff in this car but you can keep the wad of napkins from Dunkin if you want.
However, there is a recall on it: "These vehicles may have rear toe links that received an improper amount of electrocoating (e-coat) corrosion protection, which could cause the e-coat to become brittle and break away when contacted by road debris. Over time, the e-coat may chip away, exposing the metal toe link and making it more susceptible to corrosion. Corrosion may eventually cause the toe link to thin and ultimately fracture. Dealers will replace the rear suspension toe links and adjuster fasteners, free of charge."
It's been a great little car and goes through snow really well. Newer tires, remote start, great gas mileage and a lot of get up and go! It's the higher end model of the Malibu and has more bells and whistles than I could ever figure out.
We will clean it out before purchase to make it all spiffy. It starts right up.
Looking to sell, not looking to be screwed over. I have the title in hand but will need to pay off the remaining loan before it's released. In researching all this, I've seen these listed for far more, albeit with a little bit lower mileage. Looking for best reasonable offer.
Please email for details and to see the vehicle. Thank you
