The R35 GT-R was introduced for the 2009 model year as the long-awaited replacement for the legendary R34 GT-R. The GT-R is powered by a 3.8 L VR38DETT engine mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. In 2011, the GT-R was heavily updated with different engine internals, brakes, and cosmetics changes. The GT-R was again updated for the 2013 model year with a new flywheel housing and retuned suspension. In addition, 2013 also marked the introduction of the Black Edition. The Black Edition included 20" forged Rays wheels, a dry carbon spoiler, and exclusive red leather Recaro seats. This 2013 GT-R Black Edition is finished in Pearl White over a Black leather interior.
