Vehicle Description
2013 VW Jetta 2.5 SE with 70k miles. Rebuilt title due to front end damage that was repaired before I purchased it.
The good: Well maintained 2013 Jetta with luxury interior and all the bells and whistles. New tires in the last year, black leather interior, premium bluetooth stereo with Sirius XM radio, sunroof, comfortable ride that is super fun to drive and gets great gas mileage. Can be driven as an automatic or manual. Sitting in PDX traffic I usually get around 27mpg; cruising on the highway mpg averages closer to 38. Recently drove this car from Portland to SF without any issues and got a solid 35 mpg on our trip. Power steering, windows, and locks; heated seats, side mirror defrosters that are super helpful in winter. All regular maintenance has been done in the time I've owned it, as well as new tires in Nov 2018 and a recent oil change that will get you another 7k before it needs to be done again. I would love to keep this car but our family is growing and we had to purchase an SUV instead. Has been a great daily driver for the past 1.5 years going from Wilsonville to Portland and has never given me any issues. Also has a new battery in the last month and the tires are still under warranty.
The bad: I purchased this car with a salvage title in March of 2018 and did not receive any records of the repairs that were done. However- I had the car inspected before purchasing and my mechanic (D&M Auto in Beaverton) found nothing wrong mechanically and had no concerns about the alignment. The front bumper needs to be reattached correctly but I assume this can be done by someone who is mildly handy and can follow a youtube tutorial. It hasn't given me any driveability or mechanical issues as it's just a bit off center (see photos) so I haven't bothered with it. Otherwise has a few cosmetic scratches and small dents you would expect with a used car but no other accidents. We are dog friendly but do not smoke. There is some pet hair in the carpets and price reflects that.
I have the title in hand and I'm open to reasonable offers. Not in a hurry to sell, because I really do love this car and still drive it occasionally. I have a flexible schedule so am happy to meet up for showings when it's convenient for you.
