Vehicle Description
The VPG MV1 is the only purpose-built wheelchair accessible vehicle ever. This one is equipped with a power side entry in-floor ramp with two different length options. With the MV1 being built with the wheelchair user in mind, it is one of the most spacious floor plans in the industry, which makes maneuvering a wheelchair much easier. It doesn't come with a front passenger seat, so you have plenty of room to position the wheelchair there. If you're not familiar with the MV1, It was built in the Hummer plant and uses a lot of Ford parts, like the motor and transmission, the same one's Ford uses in their E-series van's. It's very reliable and has been around for a long time.
We took out the rear bench seat for a food and clothing and will replace upon sale. The MV-1 can hold two power wheel chairs (each with safety straps, and 4 rear passangers for a total of 6 people (including driver).
Low mileage (41,079.00) Just had an oil change, new wipers.tires are all good. Missing one hub cap. We think it looks better without hubcaps. The previous owner was a army veteran with a disability and liked it because it looks like a tank! Get a combined 19mpg. This van will go fast.
