Vehicle Description
2014 Ford E250 Campervan Conversion 13000(OBO)
I am selling my converted van since my cross country trip is over and it would be more useful to someone else.
It has 159,000 miles on it, I got it at 135,000 from a fitness equipment distributor in New England.
Runs fine. I drove this across the country and it handled everything well, even the forest roads to trailheads. Will need new tires within the next couple thousand miles. There is a dent in the back bumper. The only work it need while I owned it was I needed to replace one spark plug and one ignition coil(spark plugs were checked 3000 miles ago and the gaps on them are fine).
It has a retractable bed/couch in the back. With storage for clothes above the bed. There is a lot of storage space under one side of the bed, the other side has the electrical system.
Two cabinets the larger one I used for food and the smaller one for plates and miscellaneous things like cleaning supplies.
There is a sink but I don't have it set up with a tank because I realized a water bottle with a hole on top fit my needs. I did use it to drain into a water jug, for teeth brushing and hand washing. I have pipe fittings that can be used for that.
Large wood box behind passenger seat is another storage opportunity for larger tools and items.
Drop down table to cook or eat on on side door.
Plastic storage container built into cabinet that holds the microwave, with small drawer on top.
The construction of everything is very modular, tried to avoid using screws and mostly just used bolts so you can take out what you want and replace things.
Onto to the electrical system, I am an electrical engineer so this system is fully fused and ran with very few hiccups over 9 months.
MaxxAir Fan
Dometic Refridgerator
~1500 watt Induction cooktop
~600 watt Microwave
3000 Watt inverter
250AH 12V AGM Batteries(2 125's)
200W solar panels(2 100W Renogy)
ctek D250S(solar charger and charges from the alternator when car is running)
Two 12V adjustable lights
Two 12V fans placed right above bed(really helps on hot nights)
Solar monitoring box
I made a solar monitoring box which tells you AH's in and out of your battery in the past 24hrs, this helps to know when your batteries are too low to use the induction cooktop or microwave. I have what most would consider a small set up for induction cooking/microwave, but since my charger uses both solar panels and the alternator I ran into very few problems with not having enough charge in the batteries.
Willing to negotiate.
Initial contact is by email only.
Available to show on some weekdays and weekends.
