Vehicle Description
I'm sadden to sell my beloved 2014 WRX Limited Hatch. I purchased the car new from Royal Subaru in Bloomington in March of 2014 and had it in Indiana for the first 9 months. After graduating Purdue I moved down to Atlanta where she has been for the last 4.75 years. She has always been garage kept and only saw snow the first winter. As you can see the mileage is extremely low for a 5.5 year car especially since this was my "daily driver". Since I commuted to work using public transit in Atlanta, in the past 3 years I've only put on 7,000 miles (I keep a rough log of my miles).
I will eventually be moving to DC for another job (and am relaxing at my parents place now, that's why I'm selling it in Lafayette) where I hope to use public transit again so instead of barely driving it and watching it depreciate, I'm selling it, which is what I should have done 3 years ago. I truly didn't think I would ever sell this car, but I can't keep paying for insurance and registration for something I rarely use just because it was my "dream" car.
What makes this WRX truly special is that she's never been modded other than some aesthetics (which I detail below). Yes, at one point the plan was to Stage 2 it. That was always my dream, but I wanted to wait till it was out of warranty and by the time I was ready to do it I no longer drove it enough to make it worthwhile.
The Good:
* This is the Limited, so it comes with all the goodies: HID, Fog Lights, Sun Roof, there are probably other things I'm forgetting about.
* Has the factory Nav unit (aka bluetooth!)
* All weather packaging (from dealer): all weather floor mats and cargo tray - meaning the carpets are in pristine condition.
* STI Short throw shifter (from dealer)
* Auto dimming mirror (from dealer)
* Interior Blue Illumination Kit (from dealer)
* Always serviced at a Subaru Dealership (should come up in the Carfax) - I have all service records.
* Rally Armor flaps were added within the first month of owning it
* Added Sharptones - hated the high pitch of the Supertones
* Weighted Anarchy Shift Knob in Pearl White (Same color as car) - I have the original knob as well.
* The interior is in excellent condition. The leather is practically like new condition. I had a seat cover on the drivers seat, took it off a couple months ago and I rarely drove around other people.
* Bone stock - the drivetrain has never been touched, no aftermarket tune either.
* I'm the first owner
* Never raced! Never been pulled over in it either!
* Tires have less than 1,000 miles) - I have the original tires with 10,000 miles which I'll give to you.
* I already took it in for it's 30k mile service, so you don't have to worry about spending another $800+ for that. I paid $835 at a reputable dealer in Atlanta - Classic Subaru of Atlanta
* Photos were taken today (at time of posting)
* Roof Rack + Basket in pictures do *NOT* come with the car. I will be removing those shortly (will sell entire rack+basket for $500, Whispbar + Kuat Vagabond - Brand new that's a $850 system.) It just looks so good on this car, but I do want to keep them for any future car I might purchase.
Let's talk about price... I realize $24,000 seems high and I was surprised myself when KBB quoted my car at $23,000 for "Very Good" condition and $24,656 at the top end. I've looked through many sites and many classifieds to determine that $24,000 is a fair price for the car and it's what the market can support. This is the last year of the hatch, low mileage, highest trim, never modded, never raced, serviced only at Subaru dealerships, and has only seen one winter. I would be surprised if there's been a better example of a WRX that's been sold recently in the midwest and that's why it's priced near the top.
Serious buyers only, please don't bother to lowball me. If the listing is up then it's still available. Must be able to meet at my parents house, near East Tipp Middle School. - Russell
