Vehicle Description
Selling my Chevy Spark EV (this is the electric version) as I purchased a Tesla Model 3. This is a perfect around-town car as it is very inexpensive to drive and it is quick and easy to manuever. The downside really is that the range is limited, but that is the story for anything sub-$25K now that Chevy Bolts have mostly been removed from the market. You can reasonably expect 40-60 miles on a charge, depending on the weather and your driving style. I have gotten as high as 80 miles when in traffic on surface streets.
I am happy to answer questions, but please do your homework on EVs before contacting me. Take a look at the market as well, where the next Spark EV in Phx is currently at $13K at a dealer, before all of the taxes and fees.
The Good:
327 lb/ft of torque / 140 hp - more torque than a Nissan 370z. You probably won't believe me, so look it up. I had to do this when I bought the car in 2018 before I believed it.
4.9 star rating on Edmunds, 4.9 star rating on KBB
Registration and charging are extremely inexpensive. I estimate the cost was around $0.02/mi for the time I owned it (2018 to present)
Battery has active cooling (prevents the rapid battery degradation that has plagued the Nissan Leaf in hot climates)
New front tires (less than 500 miles on them)
Comes with a modified L2 EVSE (aka charger, though that term is not accurate) for 240V using a 30A dryer plug, as well as a stock unmodified L1 120V charger in the trunk. I've charged with the L2 charger 98% of the time.
The bad:
One little Chevy wheel cap is missing (front driver's side, see in pictures) - probably replaceable for <$10
There is a scrape from our wall on the rear driver's side. See in pictures.
The ugly:
None. It is as described and pictured.
Contact me via email and I'll be happy to text or call.
