I have gotten 54 MPG on a trip, and averaged 51 MPG on a cross country trip. If you do a lot of city driving then it will still average around 40 mpg depending on how you drive. And there are still tunes and things available to improve that if wanted. This is the 2015 model that is sought after and considered better than the later Mk7 models. It has not had the chip recalled.
It has a rebuilt title, it was hit in the front driver side fender/door. They have been replaced but not painted. There are other dings and dents, but over all this is a great looking car. Has a bunch of light on the dash, there is a bad tire pressure sensor that is throwing a bunch of light off. It looks like that wheels camber is a little off also. Something also drains the battery from time to time.
The car also has a bad adblue sensory, so you have to reset the adblue sometimes even though it has DEF. I was told I could just remove this and tune it since I'm in TN, but don't have spare time or money. I have been driving it this way for a year, I just keep my VCDS cable with me when out and about and then hook it up to a battery tender when I'm at home.
Lastly the DMF is making a noise now. People online recommend going to a SMF with a stage 2 clutch. Like I said I would love to do all this and get the car upgraded, but don't have time or money.
More or less this car is set up for someone who wants a diesel they can fix themselves. It will be a great fuel economy and performance car with a little work. This is perfect for the VW or diesel enthusiast.
I have seen others selling them(with rebuilt title) between $10-$15k. I'm asking $6500, or if you want the roof rack and VCDS cable $6950.
