The Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloce took the Sant'Agata Bolognese automaker to new extremes when it bowed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. As the LP750-4 name suggested, power was from the automaker's V-12 engine up to a salubrious 750 PS (740 hp) and was once again fed to all four wheels via a single-clutch, paddle-shifted gearbox. Revised valve timing and intakes helped the V-12 produce the additional power while still letting it scream toward an 8,400 rpm redline. But as the SuperVeloce part of its nomenclature indicated, the Aventador was not just about more power. It was about velocity, something Lamborghini also achieved by cutting an impressive 110 lbs. from the LP700-4. Extensive carbon fiber inside and out helped the Italian supercar builder carve weight from the relatively long, 188-in. Aventador. A new front splitter, a reworked rear diffuser, and a carbon fiber reinforced plastic rear wing helped keep the LP750-4 SV planted by increasing downforce by as much as 180 percent. Lamborghini took an LP570-4 SV to Germany's famed N�rburgring and soon�very soon, in fact�posted a 6:59 lap time, enough to cement the Aventador's status among hypercars. The LP750-4 SV offered here is believed to be the last model produced for the American market. No expense was spared in outfitting it; with an original list price of $611,085, it may be the most expensive Aventador LP750-4 SV coupe shipped to the U.S. It is finished in a striking black with gold-painted accents. Unusually, the gold trim that adorns its aero kit and calls out its SV status as part of the optional Branding package is paint, not a sticker applied later. Staggered 20-in. and 21-in. Dianthus forged wheels add to the Lamborghini's presence. Inside, its black Alcantara upholstery is accented with matching gold stitching. The extensive list of factory options fitted to the Aventador include the Carbon Skin package, Travel package, transparent engine cover, Lamborghini sound, fixed rear intake, MR suspension, carbon fiber roof, and a host of convenience features such as heated electric seats, a rearview camera, and a garage door opener. This unique Aventador LP750-4 SV serves as a rolling tribute to Lamborghini's SV team. Under its front hood, it boasts the entire SV team's signatures as well as their contributions to the project. With just 200 miles showing on its digital odometer since being delivered new to Beverly Hills in early 2017, this LP750-4 SV has the extreme pedigree to match its jaw-dropping looks.
