Used 68 Ford Galaxie XL Convertable for sale in Pacolet, SC

68 Ford Galaxie for sale, recently went down, likely needs a starter or could be a grounding issue (I can't be bothered). Before the electrical problem it ran good enough to be a daily driver, no issues. 5.0 302 under the hood in sound condition, oil last changed last November. Needs brake pads, the shoes probably still have life in them. I've probably put 600 miles on it since December of 2020. The odometer no long reads, fuel gage does not work (25 gal. Tank). The convertible works, right hand lock down latch is missing a nut. Bought the car with the boot missing and the cover torn. A/C does not work, compressor either needs to be replaced or charged (it's a rag top I didn't need A/C). New brake booters/master cylinder. New radiator. New gell cell battery. Mechanical fuel pump bladder did fail earlier this year while I took it on a long trip so I replaced it with an Edlebrock electric fuel pump (it was a field repair boys, I was stranded, calm down). The pump can easily be switched back to mechanical I just didn't feel the need to buy the parts. There is one rust spot in left rear fender well. Intierior in good shape, door panels could use some work and the dingleling i bought the car from put a cd player on the passenger side which is no longer wired in.I love the car honestly but could use the money. Will not go down on the price, I bought it for almost double not counting repairs. It's a good car, you'll turn heads. No I don't want to trade. Yes I'm really telling you that if yoy show up with 3,900 I'll turn you down. I work in the daylight so text only would be preferred, I could deal with email as well, I won't answer if you call.
