Vehicle Description
* No Trades, Please *
Selling this 2002 F-350 regular cab 4WD with the legendary pre-emissions 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel and 8 foot steel commercial flat bed.
Recently went through the engine down to the heads and replaced: heads (refurbished), head gaskets, valve train wire harness, injector seals, water pump (new), oil pan (refurbished), rear main seal, motor mounts (1x new, 1x refurbished), radiator (new), 1x exhaust manifold (refurbished). Blue spring fuel pressure regulator upgrade.
Starts well when batteries are topped up, runs great.
Includes Max Tow Fuel Pressure Gauge (an essential for these diesels), Edge Insight CTS3 Monitor, backup cam. New Bridgestone Dueler Revo 3 All-Terrain tires with less than 4000 miles and 4 months on them.
Flatbed has backup beeper, reverse lights. Truck has working yellow strobes on front and rear wired to auxiliary switch panel in cab.
Interior is from a Ford Excursion (more photos soon).
One or more cracked injector cups causing a slow fuel to coolant system leak which will need to be addressed within the next few months, but don't prevent normal operation in the meantime. Only other leak is transmission (slow, suspect front seal).
Parasitic slow electrical draw (suspect instrument cluster).
AC recently stopped working. I rebuilt this recently, so I suspect checking seals and recharging Freon should fix this.
Front passenger's side wheel speed sensor is out (likely should be replaced), meaning ABS causes a pull to left when braking hard.
This was a plow truck (plow frame since removed) for a fire department in Massachusetts for most of its life, so engine was well-serviced, but truck has some rust. Since then has only been owned by myself and one other non-commercial owner.
Awesome truck with many more miles of service for someone willing to wrench on the engine a bit and keep up with the truck.
I'm available to answer any questions. I've been through most of this truck myself and have service records for work done while I've owned it. Happy to walk you through anything you'd like to know more about.
