Vehicle Description
This is a rare classic Jeep Commando celebrating 50 years. This was the first year that AMC made the Commando and used their reliable 232 ci. inline 6. It is all standard 3 speed transmission. No power brakes or steering. This was life before luxury. The body has been restored with new bumpers, floorpans, rocker panels all welded in. New gas tank, muffler,battery, carburetor rebuild. rhino lined interior roof and floor. Bluetooth stereo receiver. Roll bar and new seats front and back with seat belts. I chose the high back front seats for safety.
I have not really touched the engine It runs great, has worlds of torque, but does have slow leaks from engine and transmission. 4wd works great. Have driven it up steep mountain back roads and in deep snow. Only selling because of economics.
