Vehicle Description
I purchased this 97 LX450 (Lexus Landcruiser) and it was 100% stock. Two previous owners and Clean Title and Carfax. Below is a list of most of the things that I've replaced. Preventative Maintenance has been performed to almost an OCD level and I have all documentation for it. Recently did 4k service. Motor runs extremely smooth and is very quiet and it has buttery smooth shifts. All electronics work, window motors are good, and no "my wife is gonna kill me" lights are lit up in the dash. Save yourself the headache, blood, sweat, and cheddar by going this route. All of this peace of mind cost me close to $10k. I also have most of the receipts and service on all of this. This is not triple locked (I was going to go with the ARB Locker route since it's better, but haven't gotten to it. I did install an OEM switch in order to turn the center diff lock on in 4H)The Good:We have replaced 95% of all rubber hoses (OEM),All Seals Replaced (OEM),Windshield and Windshield Seal Replaced (OEM),Air Intake (OEM),AC/Heater Completely Replaced (Denso)OEM, Thermostat,Koyorad Radiator,Red Head Steering Gear Rebuild with 105 Series Shaft (Bullet Proof),Oil Pump and Valve Cover Gasket,Knuckles and Knuckle Reseal Kit (OEM),Coolant and All Other Fluids Flushed,Modified OEM Toyota Blue Fan Clutch (Keeps the motor nice and cool),Complete OEM Belt Kit,OEM Bushings- Sway Bar, Upper and Lower Control Arms,Brand New Battery- Die Hard AGM with SDHQ Built Billet Battery Terminal Upgrade Kit. Things that I smooth talked my wife into letting me buy: Full 3 inch Dobinsons Suspension Kit,Landtank Caster Plates,Slee Rear Bumper,ARB Front Bumper,ARB Front and Rear Diff Breather,Bowfin Cruisers Full Roof Rack,Smittybilt Winch,35" Yokohama Geolander MT's (90% tread and rotated every 3k miles),Recaro Specialist M Seat- Black Leather/Black Artista (Drivers Seat),Sound Deadening in all Doors,Delta Center Console and Shift Console,CB radio,Pioneer Headunit with Android Auto/Carplay,Full Pioneer audio system with Sub,Front and Rear Camera,Window Tint and Windshield Tint,Lightbar. The little projects that I left for you to do so you can tell all of your friends that you built this thing up with all of that impressive brawn: Passenger seat, Drivers Side Sun Visor, the exhaust needs to be replaced, and there's a scratch on the hood. Now, I'm not selling this because I want to, I'm going to 100% regret this. But, my wife and I have a new life goal to buy a piece of land out in the country and we need to payoff her student loan. We'll be using my metaphorical baby in order to pay off her debt of intelligence. This 80 Series has brought me and my wife to places we never would have been able to get to and created so many amazing memories that we will cherish, but it's time to start a new chapter and let it create amazing memories for someone else (you better treat it like your favorite offspring). Here is a link of the truck running so there's no doubts about how well the motor runs, no clicks or stutters. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to message.
