Used 83 Mercedes 240D diesel - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... for sale in Charleston, SC

'83 Mercedes 240D. Great repair or restoration project, currently turns over but will not start. Was a daily driver before developing what I suspect is a fuel supply issue. Can be run on cooking oil or diesel. Will need significant cleaning inside, but the body is straight and the seats are in decent condition under the seat covers. Odometer reads 540,000 but is not from this car. Actual mileage unknown.

These cars were a hobby of mine, but I've lost interest. I'm asking $800 obo, but if it doesn't sell for a reasonable price I'll clean it up and sell it running for a good bit more this spring. I also have a cooking oil filtration system and several other mercedes diesel bodies and engines if you're looking for a different project. These are cool old cars, they can be insured as antiques, and the old diesels are hard to kill.
