The time has come to part with my beautiful e30 cabrio. It has been well loved and well maintained during our ownership. I am the third owner of the car, originally from North Carolina and brought over here in the late 90s. Owned by bmw enthusiast and it shows. The car has been garage kept since I have owned it. E30s are finally getting the recognition they deserve, truly one of the best cars to ever come out of Bavaria . Truly one of the best driving experiences you can get from the era.

-new distributor cap and rotor,spark plugs and spark plug wires. New ignition coil

-rebuilt alternator

-new ac blower resistor

-new battery from battery bills

-new ignition switch

-new obc relay and main relay

-new clutch and resurfaced flywheel

-timing belt water pump done at 145k miles

-shocks replaced with bilstein hd units

-rebuilt hirschman 6000 antenna

The straight 6 M20 engine mated with the getrag 5speed manual transmission is the perfect combo for these e30s. The engine feels strong , has great power and torque . Engine runs smooth and quiet. No overheating, no oil leaks. Transmission goes through the gears nicely. Clutch feels great , no slipping . Steering feels tight , suspension feels very good. Brakes work well. Overall a solid running and driving car.

The body is in excellent shape. The Delphin grey paint is in great shape. No rust anywhere especially in the common e30 spots. Paint shines and has nice depth. A small scratch on the hood. No accidents , all of its original panels are present. The car looks excellent for its age. A true survivor .
The interior Is in excellent shape. Seats were redone in its original cardinal red. Seats function well and feel great. Leather is not even broken in yet. Power windows work great. Kenwood deck works well. Obc computer works great. Door panels in very good shape. Dash is cracked but there is a dash cover . Cardinal red is a rare color on these cars and really sets the car off .
Brand new Haartz German canvas top , new tension straps. New bmw seals for the top as well. Top works good , it’s manual so very easy to put up and down.
