Vehicle Description
I'm looking for a new home for my '92 Saab 900 S and the large parts, tool, and service manual collection I've accumulated over the years. The car is still a lot of fun to drive, runs strong, and turns lots of heads. Despite the age, almost everything works well on the car with the exception of the cruise control and air conditioning, and it has a fancy new stereo.
When I got the car the mileage wasn't tracking properly, so the instrument cluster was replaced with one from a higher mileage car, so the current mileage is probably too high.
Also included with the car is a large collection of parts scavenged off several parts cars. In all, it's probably several truck loads including:
- Convertible Top
- Complete Engine
- Engine Block
- Seats
- Several Sets of Wheels and Tires
- Hood
- Trunk lids
- Rarities, like clock springs
- Much, much, much more!
Also included is a set of official service manuals, some printed material, as well as a modest collection of Saab tools including some special drifts for transmission seals, fuel pump removal tool, clutch plate spacer, and a near complete set of automatic transmission tools for the 3-speed Borg Warner transmission (which the car doesn't have :-p).
I've had it for about six years, but it deserves someone who'd appreciate more. See the pictures, or send me an email for details. While I would like to sell both the parts and the car, other reasonable offers will be considered. Thanks for your interest!
