Used 92 Toyota Chaser Avante RHD from Japan US title for sale in Westport , MA

This 92 Toyota Chaser Avante was imported into the US DEC of 2017 from Japan. This vehicle has been kept 100% stock and comes with 79K km (49K miles).

This Chaser is on the JZX81 chassis which is similar to the USDM Toyota Cressida. It currently has a 1G-FE engine that is non turbo. It is mated with an automatic transmission. Transmission has a hard time shifting into 4th gear when cold and often remains in 3rd gear. A common swap for this chassis would be a 1jz-GTE and r154 as it would bolt right since the chaser offered that engine and trans combo. Also the more common USDM 7M-GTE engines can also be swapped into this chassis.

This is the last model year for the 4th gen of the chaser since 92 was a split year. The Chaser was the sportier model out of the JZx80 family between the Mark ll and Cresta. This model Chaser has the Avante trim level which was a more luxury oriented package.

The exterior is in good shape for the age of the vehicle. The white exterior body panel still shines well and the bumper covers have some scrapes and are slightly dulled due to age of plastics. The chassis is completely rust free. There is no peeling clear coat or bubbling. There is some touch marks on the front and rear bumper. Wheels are 185/70r14 on factory hub caps which show some curbage. Tread life is low all around and suggest replacements. Suspension remains factory. The exterior has some vintage rain guards and classic Japan Automobile Federation badges to complete the 90's look.

The Interior is brown cloth in great shape. There are no rips or tears in the interior. Knee panel still has factory plastic covering cloth and is in perfect condition. All the functions work as requested as well as the power folding mirror. OEM floor mats are clean and present. This car also has a secondary clean air purifier system (auto Airpuri) located in the trunk that works as requested. OEM headunit works as requested. Headliner and interior overall is in great condition.

This car is a good driver and is a great foundation for future modifications. Priced perfectly to have some budget leftover for drivetrain swap as you choose. This vehicle is legal to drive and register in the USA and comes with MA Title and all Customs paperwork.
