Vehicle Description
1993 Ford Ranger splash model (side steps). 2.3L i4, 5-speed manual, 2WD, 186,000 by title [dash only goes to 10,000's marker] & clean title. Power side mirrors, rolling windows, aftermarket radio doesn't work except for CD's, Specter intake, and Gibson exhaust. New timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump, battery, alternator, and starter. Does have heat and A/C. Heat works very well (too well sometimes), A/C works but needs a recharge but the type of ammonia isn't sold anymore.
I've had this truck for eight years and it has never let me down. Unfortunately I'm moving and can't take it with me so I need it gone by November 1st. The only known issue that I've had with it is the hydraulic clutch system and I can't currently get it in gear (I think the system just needs to be bled). It may need to be towed if it's more than just bleeding any air out of the system. Please ask about the status of that when contacting. Otherwise the motor is in great shape and runs good, the rest of the vehicle is in good shape other than some cosmetics. I've taken very good care of it over the years.
Since I've had it so long I don't know if it would pass MD inspection nor what it would need to pass inspection. However, it's more than 20 years old so it can be registered as historic. I'd much rather see this truck go to someone that can use it than to a scrap yard. It would make for a great farm vehicle, a small truck for grocery shopping, or to teach someone how to drive manual, and Ranger's are known for lasting forever when maintained properly. Contact me for showings and more information.
