Air Conditioning - does not work. The motor was removed as a “quick-fix” while on a road trip in 2010. Never replaced as not needed in Northern Michigan, but still have the parts.
Lock on slider is manual, not connected to central locking system. Hatch & front doors operate on central locking system.
Minor Rust, primarily on lower frame beneath driver door (see photos). Vehicle has not been repainted to enable buyer to assess corrosion.
Plastic cover on inside of slider cracked (top of door). Does not interfere with functionality.
Passenger ceiling handle not attached. (Still have it, but did not reattach for safety reasons).
Fuel Gauge sticks.
History:
3rd owner, we purchased 2000 in Seattle from a guy who rarely drove it and seemed pretty OCD. It was pristine. First owner was a “soccer mom."
Regular maintenance performed. Runs and drives great.
Primarily used for weekend camping & biking (Our 3rd vehicle - recreation only).
Occasional road trips (Colorado, DC, Tennessee). It’s not speedy on the mountain passes, but does fine.
Stored inside during winter months. Garaged or stored in carport otherwise.
Regularly detailed and very clean, with low wear, for its age.
Non smokers, no pets, perfumes or odors.
We added the black band of protective coating on the front of the roof about ten years ago, where the fiberglass was showing wear.
This van cannot be beat for camping and festivals. With ample storage and sleeping for four, it’s super comfortable. We opted for the MV version (vs. full camper with kitchen) for ease of maintenance and clean up at the end of a long weekend. Our outdoor kitchen setup kept the mess outside and allowed sleepers to lounge undisturbed. Full blackout curtains are in great shape and provide ample privacy.
If this ad is posted the Van is still for sale. Not interested in trades.
