Vehicle Description
This is a nice 4runner, everything works, except the motor! You could fix the 3.0L V6, swap in a 3.4L, or make a rock crawler out of it. It has 269,000 miles, everything worked, transmission works great, 4 wheel drive works great, AC blows cold, heater cranks with rear passenger heat, sunroof/moonroof works smooth, electric windows work great, tinted windows, new battery and alternator December 2018, front brake pads and rotors in April, has good tires and Aluminum wheels, tie rod ends and alignment done a few months ago, nice stereo wired for a amp and sub-woofer, interior is in great shape with just the usual wear spot on the driver’s seat. The body is in good shape, no rust, has a few dings and dents (few new ones from the inside of the hood where the fan blades hit when it flew apart) paints good the strips are faded. I put a timing belt, water pump, belts, hoses etc. on it at the end of May. I put a new fan bracket on it at the same time from O’Reilly’s (lifetime warranty, I have the new replacement part from them, built much better than the other one) it’s the bracket, bearings, and the shaft that the cooling fan and clutch fan are attached to. A few weeks ago, I was doing 70 on the freeway and the bearings in the new fan bracket gave out taking out the shroud, fan, clutch fan, radiator, and blowing all the coolant out. By the time I pulled over and stopped, I think the motor overheated (there was no antifreeze left to work the gauge). It started and ran good except it had a miss, I did a compression test and had 134 to 152 in all cylinders except one (zero, rear passenger side), so I think it blew the headgasket. I’ve got other projects going and I’m not really into doing this one right now and I don’t want it sitting around until I have time for it. I’m looking for $2000 or any reasonable offer or trade. Trade for a car, truck, or what you got?! Don’t waste my and your time low balling, I’ll keep it before I give it away. Text is best because I work all day and usually can’t answer the phone. If you want it let’s make a deal. No, I won’t take payments, No, I won’t hold it for a few months until you have the cash.
