This V6 Camry has been practically rebuilt since last October,’s road-trip when the thermostat stuck , causing it to overheat and blow the engine. The engine was replaced by a warrantied (still under warranty) used engine with 234,910 Odometer miles and again purred like a kitten, and 20/23 mpg. New Front tires. 1/2 rear seat back flips down for trunk access. All paperwork for maintenance & upgrades.
By the end of my 700 mile trip home, it was overheating again. Since then we have been trouble shooting, diagnosing, repairing and replacing all possible causes. I've invested almost $6,000 in just the last 3 months. It's almost completely rebuilt! No hydro-carbons in coolant, or excess pressure from the engine. The only potential cause left for overheating is a defective water pump, but my finances have run dry and I can not afford more mechanic’s hours to fix it. My car, “Blossom,” deserves better.
