Vehicle Description
Missing out on the Van Life? Wait until you meet the FAMOUS Vincent.
Why is Vincent famous you may ask? Is it because he has his own popular Instagram or because he is going to be on a huge billboard on Highway 17 going to Santa Cruz? Or just because he carries his own swagger, just look at those rims. Either way, he’s kind of a big deal.
Vincent is our buddy we got last year and put lots of TLC into. He is the best camping van ever- you just pull up to a campsite and Voila! You are ready for a drink. While everyone is annoyed at blowing up the air mattress and piecing together their tents and fighting with their significant other, you are chilling on your rooftop deck, beverage in hand, watching the sunset. and at this rate, probably a few shooting stars.
The pictures attached highlight some of the standout features, but you can also see more pictures of the build process and all of his adventures on IG. Just email me and I will share the info with you.
Interested? Let’s learn some more:
Vinny is a 1999 Dodge Ram Van 2500 that we transformed into a badass adventure vehicle.
Van specs
5.9L V8
Vinny only has 43,000 miles on him (yes you read that correctly)
Rear wheel drive
4-spd auto w/OD Transmission
36 gallon fuel tank (I think)
Upgraded wheels and rims
AC and heater work
Cassette player and radio work. Will throw in a FM Bluetooth transmitter with USB ports- this is awesome for the road trips listening to your Spotify and even has a great mic for calls.
Camper upgrades:
-Well-insulated walls, floors, ceiling. This thing stays toasty during cold nights and cool during hot ones.
-Cedar planks run the length of the van up the walls and across the ceiling. It smells like a log cabin.
-Bed with room for a full-size memory foam mattress
-Tons of storage under the bed
-Built-in storage cabinet with magnetic closures with a custom redwood countertop that we built!
-Redwood bedside table
-Drop-down metal shelf on the back door with a slide-out cutting board/prep table. A 2-burner camping stove fits perfectly on this thing.
-Locking doors in the rear corners for storing the jack, first aid kit, jumper cables, fire extinguisher, etc.
-Curtains for the rear window and the front cab, Velcro shades for the side windows for privacy.
-Side ladder going up to the wooden deck (think morning rooftop coffee, stargazing, etc.)
-Cargo basket on the front portion of the roof. Just in case you need more storage space.
USB-string lights run along the ceiling (you will need a power bank)
We recently installed a new PVC valve and idle air control valve and just got an oil change, tire alignment, and a new battery. Although this van has low mileage and is in great condition, it is still an old machine and will need a little TLC.
Sadly, we are parting with him to get a trailer for some off-roading adventures. Serious offers only. If you just want to look- just email me for his Instagram.
