Vehicle Description
For sale is my 2002 Chevy Astro van. The interior has been converted into a very functional camper set up which has taken me all over Washington and Oregon in comfort.
Interior Changes
- Couch with storage underneath, converts into almost "full" sized bed. Sleeps two comfortably if you know the person.
- Cabinet with tons of storage and lots of usable counterspace
- Flip up cutting board
- Swivel passenger seat. Swivel provided by IronCloud Metalworks, super solid and swivels easily.
- Diy window covers, reflectix with soft fabric on inside.
Exterior
- Journeys Offroad 2-5" lift kit, set to 3" all around
- Bfg Ko2 tires with barely any wear, at least 95% tread left
- Thule roof box, not sure which model but it's one of the larger sizes
- Maxi Trac awning from napa auto parts, surprisingly sturdy and easy to deploy
Recent work
This is a 20 year old vehicle, and as such had a few issues when I purchased it. The majority of the work done is due to old plastics failing. It has never left me stranded however, and is a solid running van.
- Much of the cooling system has been replaced, new radiator and new lines.
- New transmission fluid lines
- New power steering pump and lines
- New battery
This van has been really good to me and I hate to sell it, but I know someone out there will get as much adventure out of as I have! With only 170k on the odometer, it has plenty of life left in it.
Bike rack not included sorry
