Vehicle Description
1968 V W based kit car. Type 1, with X-large oil sump, oversized oil pump, external oil filter and cooler, Holly "Bug Spray" carburetor, and manifold, Bosh hi performance coil. Many extras on the motor. Over $1,000 in ten custom Stewart Warner gauges, on dash. Needs paint, and interior work. 85% complete, 5000 miles on engine. 14" aluminum wheels. Suspension lowered by 3". There is an overhead counsel, with an array of switches. Short throw shifter, and steering wheel turn reduction. Custom anti sway bars, Bilstein shocks. It also comes with a KKK blow threw turbo charger (not installed).
It is fun to drive, and a definite head turner, especially with the gull wing doors. Serious inquires only. This is a great winter project. Interior needs finishing, needs tires, and battery. It has been garaged, but not started for many years. The orange finish is jell coat release, so it needs paint.
