Hi all! I am selling my 1999 GMC Savanna converted school bus (skoolie). Automatic
V8 Turbo Diesel Engine 132,000 miles (a great number for a discharged bus)
GREAT condition. Asking $22,000 up-front.
Originally from a school district in Washington DC. I have invested much time and energy into the inside conversion AND mechanically. Lived in her full-time for about a year. Deciding to sell because I want to settle down.
I CAN PROVIDE ALL MECHANICAL RECORDS SINCE I PURCHASED HER.
CLEAN TITLE. You are more than welcome to have a diesel mechanic inspect her before purchase.
Mechanical Details:
2022
2 brand new batteries (yes- she has two batteries)
New alternator and serpentine belt & tensioner
New headlight and fuel filter
2021
Badass bus with a two-inch leveling kit (great for dirt roads and street parking)
New idler arm
ALL new brake drums
New transmission oil pan
New power steering pump
No engine issues. Has never run an engine code.
AC and heater does not work (I use alternative methods for this including solar power and propane)
Style Details:
Original paint.
High-qual insulation on lower sidewalls and beneath the hardwood floor. Full-Queen size bed platform with underneath storage. Clothes and kitchen storage area with countertop. All windows are functional. The backdoor opens easily and the alarm wire to the backdoor is disconnected. The cab is original, with room for storage and modifications. A build you can add on to and easily customize to fit your needs.
