Vehicle Description
This is a great car that should drive nearly forever but it does need some love. Drives fine as is. If you are handy with cars, then repairs will be cheap and easy. If you're not, it will cost a little to get this baby looking mint again but she'll get you from point A to B stylin' the whole way in the condition its in.
Cash only, title clean and ready. Here's the list from the mechanic:
1. Right front control arm should be replaced at some point. If you come and test drive, you'll hear and feel a little thump when you turn. That's what it is. We did the left front one last month.
2. See photo where bumper is slightly off. That comes from parking too close to the curb. Some zip ties will fix that up.
3. There is a very slight oil leak - so minor that I have never had to top it off between oil changes, and don't see spots in the driveway, but if you get her up on a lift, you'll see evidence of it.
4. Drivers seat has unraveled at the seam a bit and needs re-sewing - see photo.
5. See next pic - the little plastic buttons to control the window are aging and some have broken away. Thin fingers or a paper clip can control the mechanism perfectly. Should be an easy replacement as well.
As the last year of the e-46 body type, this car is an absolute tank and does all the things expected of a BMW, and I'm told, some day will be coveted by collectors (apparently the last year of any major body style is special, I just think its a rockin' car). Convertible top is good to go. You'll be cruisin to the beach and lovin life in this dandy.
