SOME HISTORY:

Completed on November of 1996, this Alpineweiss III E36 M3 was delivered to its first and only owner on January 9th of 1997 by Southpointe BMW of Sarasota, FL.

As a lifelong BMW enthusiast, this owner would care for his first car-love for years to come in his Southwest Florida home. But as his stable of M-Powered machines grew (all finished in Alpineweiss III, by the way) so did the weight of caring for a car collection at an older age, eventually making the difficult decision of passing the E36-M3 to its next steward.

This loving owner kept everything that came with the M3 from the factory; original window sticker, complete set of owner's manuals, two keys, factory tool kit, the "new-owner audio program" cassette, original M3 post card, sales brochures and even the period correct nose bra and custom interior car cover.

There is even a stash with every GAS RECEIPT that went into the tank; from January of 1997 until May of 2021!

COSMETICS:

Original paint in beautiful glossy condition. Only a couple of very small rock chips are observed; these can be easily touched up but the car's next caregiver and are being pointed out on the attached photo gallery.

All panels are original and retain all the factory VIN stickers.

Original glass all around, free of rock chips and cracks.

Original seats and interior are free of cuts or rips, showing only minor patina consistent with age and mileage.

Original wheels are virtually flawless and curb rash free, retaining their factory finish.

MECHANICAL:

Loving ownership, indoors storage and mild weather translated into a reliable example from the get-go. That being said, the following work was completed in May of 2021 in preparation for sale:

- New Michelin Pilot Sport tires all around.
- New OEM struts and shock absorbers all around.
- New OEM suspension bump stops all around.
- Fresh engine oil and filter.
- New OEM air filter.
- New OEM drive shaft flex joint.
- New OEM hood pad.
- New battery.
- Brake fluid flush.

MODIFICATIONS:

This vehicle is 100% bone stock with only one OEM modification:

- OEM "BMW M3" front license plate.
