Vehicle Description
This is a 2016 BMW i3REx with just under 34,000 miles. It is made of Carbon Fiber, aluminum and recycled materials. This one had the mid-level interior and the Technology with Park Assist package. I am including the original all-season tires and wheels plus a set of 4 brand new snow tires mounted on OEM BMW aero wheels. New, with the extra set of wheels, it was over $53,000.
Most importantly, it is a BMW and is crazy, giggling fun to drive.
The battery range in the warmer months is 75 miles, but the range extender is a gas generator that can provide enough energy to go another 70 miles before the 2 gallon gas tank needs a fill up. In sub freezing winter, the range is closer to 40 miles before the generator kicks in. If you commute 40 miles or less a day you may find you never need the generator. It charges from 5% to 100% using 110v household current in 16 hours; 6 hours or less with a level 2 home charger. Last year I used a total of 5 gallons of gas.
With this low mileage and these option packages and no extra wheels they seem to be selling for $17,500 to $20,000. Having just invested $1100 on new snows and an alignment, I am asking $16,800.
