Clean title
4 Dick Cepek Trail Country "EXP" offroad tires (aprox 31/32in) with low miles on them and 90-95% tread left purchased and installed from Performance Plus in Long Beach
Aftermarket Alpine headunit (older unit from previous owner but does work)
Manual front cloth seats (less things to break) with only one tear on driver seat
Interior:
I purchased this truck with the intention of making it into a "overlanding" or adventure vehicle.
These Tahoes are very reliable, easy to work on, and have good off road characteristics.
The front compartment is stock (rubber flooring instead of carpet per the government build), previous owner had an alpine headunit installed that does work for AM/FM (No CD). The passenger front window does not roll down/needs motor for under 100.00). The dash does not have a single crack and the seats are a factory dark grey with black dash and black and grey door panels/trim (nice combo).
The rear compartment is where this Tahoe is unique beyond it's government history:
The rear seats (2nd row bench) was removed and there was never a third row installed.
I then took out the rubber flooring (instead of carpet), put down a thick piece of high quality insulation mat, then custom fabricated a very high quality flat sleeping/living space with hardwood floors, stainless steel trim, and extremely high quality and long lasting (expensive) plywood from a lumbar yard in Hermosa Beach.
You can sleep two people in the back without problem and you have about 6'7 ft from the interior of the barn doors to the back of the front seats. There are two areas that are flat where you can do work with your laptop and there is a lot of storage.
The bad:
I have a receipt of a transmission rebuild from the previous owner however in the last few days the 3rd and 4th gear clutch pack went out so the truck now only has reverse, 1st, and 2nd gear limiting your driving to about 40mph.
I have invested quite a bit of time and money into this beast and she gets compliments all the time however it's now time for me to pass the project on to the right buyer.
I am very open and upfront and have no problem showing the vehicle to you when our schedules line up.
