Vehicle Description
This car is amazing for use as a long distance passenger vehicle or as a truck! We have used it to haul 4x8 sheets of plywood flat in the back with the gate closed to keep it dry, moved kids to and from college multiple times and it has been awesome for hauling my shopping finds. You can see well all around you when driving and the car is like driving or riding in a cloud! We hope this wonderful car goes to a good home. We just can't justify now owning two of these- yes, two '95 Roadmaster Estate Wagons!
It has a Chevy LT1 Corvette engine in it with TONS of power, a trailer hitch, rear back seats (which were the most sought after when the kids were young), awesome stereo surround sound, new windshield, new tires, turn signals and ignition switch this year. It passed DEQ easily in July of this year. It's not perfect, but its 24 years old and is in pretty good shape and a lot cheaper to fix than these new cars. We have changed the oil every 3,000 miles and well you'll just have to drive it for yourself to see how comfortable and versatile it is.
The car has 255K miles on it and I have had multiple offers from collectors to sell it to them when I've been out and around town in the last three years but I wasn't ready to let it go back then. I guess this engine is a big deal, and like I said that's what's under the hood.
It handles AWESOME in the snow and ice since it's so heavy. It can turn on a dime - better than our Lexus or BMW ever could. It gets 22 mpg or so on the freeway and is a dream to drive. Cruise control, leather seats, automatic seat positioning and so on make it extra nice.
