Vehicle Description
Well-maintained first gen Mini Cooper, which is the 1.6L non-supercharged version. Upgrades incl. an aftermarket intake and a Kenwood 1 CD Changer w/Aux port and USB routed to a JBL Basspro Amp/Woofer. It's wicked loud!!
The car is a 5-speed Manual, and the transmission was completely rebuilt at around 90K. Maintenance has been performed recently, and it has a brand new battery, low speed fan, as well as a new serpentine belt and tension pulley. Oil was just changed, and always used full synthetic, as BMW specifies. 125K orig. miles.
Six MN winters later, and it has never failed to start on the first try. Tires are 215/45/R17 TOYO CELCIUS All Season (3-peak rated) and have about 10K on them. Perform excellently in moderate snow, and very respectable in dry conditions for an all-season. Struts were also replaced at same time as tires.
