Vehicle Description
LXI model, fully loaded, runs excellently, must-see car!!!
Kelley Blue Book shows value range from $2400 up to $3200 in "excellent condition", not including my vast repairs!!! Now add over $9800 total so far from restoring/rebuilding the engine, trans, CPU (@131,000 miles, now 162,000miles) and all parts replaced listed below. This car has a "Clean Title"...car is NOT a salvage, just original owner restoring vehicle!
Replaced brakes/rotors, trans mount, airflow tube/hose & O2 sensor (3 weeks ago, $775). In past 1-3 years replaced most engine seals, battery, belts, tires, struts, alternator, starter, radiator, engine mounts, CV joints/tie-rods, harmonic balancer, AC compressor-evaporator-condenser-lines. It was repainted with Matrix professional paint/primer 3 years ago.
I arrived from Vegas 7 weeks ago; the car gets great gas mileage...average 28-29 MPG driving the highways in RGV at 60-65 mph with cruise control on!
Known remaining repair items; just an Oilpan/crankcase seal and a small leak in AC line somewhere. I have spent a small fortune restoring this vehicle, it's time someone else finishes a few small remaining items. I am selling because I have to fly back to Vegas to drive my other car here (1600 mile trip again). Incidentally, I bought this Sebring only one-year-old with 9200 miles, so I am like the original owner. Still looks like a newer style sports car after all these years, very peppy engine, great gas mileage and a great everyday commuter car for a "steal" price!
