Used Corvair Hotrod for sale in Calverton, NY

Posting for my father: This is a custom Corvair built by my father. He spent a couple of years putting it together. The build sheet looks like this:
* Installed the FRONT transaxle from a 1970 Cadillac Eldorado into the REAR of a 1967 Corvair (500 cubic inch V8 was rebuilt).
* Installed the FRONT suspension from a C4 Corvette into the FRONT of the Corvair.
* Numerous Brake and Suspension modifications.
This car runs and it’s wicked fast. It handles quite well and launches without wheel spin. It needs competition which is mostly body work (floor boards are good). The mechanical stuff is mostly sorted.
