OWNER FINANCE TERMS:
Cash Price is $3950. I will consider taking monthly payments of $500-700, you choose. Down payment is at least $1000. A higher down payment will get you a lower monthly payment and help you pay it off sooner.
This is a very unique and extra clean CVPI. It runs smooth and sounds super tough. When I got it, it seemed much more responsive than my personal CVPI. So I challenged my wife to a drag race and she said, "you're on hotrod!" This one walked away from my stock CVPI in the short drag race. The engine is still stock, but the catalytic convertors were removed which allows it to breath better, and increases fuel economy and performance. It also sounds tough, like a Mustang GT. And it also has new coil packs and plugs. It's never been chipped or programmed or raced. I think I'm going to remove the Cats from my own CVPI now, I like it so much.
On the inside, it has a new PIONEER Bluetooth/USB/Aux Stereo, a really cool center console from a Marauder, and black carpet from a Marauder has been added. Dark tint has been added to all windows.
The Transmission has been rebuilt about 3000 miles ago at a cost of $2400. You're good to go.
Crown Vics are getting harder to find with under 150,000 miles. They were only made up until 2011.
This is a one owner vehicle in excellent mechanical condition. Maintenance records from day one are available. Meticulous fleet maintenance, oil changes every 3-5000 miles, repairs all done. This fact alone distinguishes this car from all others on CL. This vehicle is clean and ready to drive anywhere. Many (especially mechanics) say the Crown Vic is the best, most reliable vehicle ever made.
This car is exceptionally clean. No accidents. All check engine/ABS/airbag lights are functional and not lit on the dash. Belts, hoses, wires, fluids, tires, brakes, engine, transmission, diff, glass, interior, all are in very good condition.

WHAT YOU WILL FIND IF YOU BUY A TYPICAL INTERCEPTOR on CL:
I've bought a few of these, and looked at 1000's. Most of them are pretty trashed out. I look for ones that have been used for admin or by an investigator, and not patrols.
COMPARISON with standard Crown Victoria
Both cars use the same 4.6 L 2V SOHC V8 (both Flex Fuel starting in 2008), Ford Modular engine, and Ford 4-speed automatic transmission. However, there are few notable differences between the Police Interceptor and standard Crown Victoria or Grand Marquis.
ENGINE AND DRIVE TRAIN
The Police Interceptor is equipped with an external oil-to-engine-coolant oil cooler to reduce engine oil temperatures, allowing the vehicles to operate at high rpm/high loads for an extended period of time without the risk of engine oil overheating and subsequent engine damage.
The Police Interceptor engine calibration includes a slightly higher idle speed (by approximately 40 rpm) and minor changes in the emissions settings. The computer is tuned for more aggressive transmission shift points, and the transmission itself is built for firmer and harder shifts. The EGR system is controlled differently on 03+ vehicles than on 03+ non-police vehicles.
BODY AND CHASSIS
Another difference is Ford's "severe duty" shock absorbers that offer a stiffer ride than the standard Crown Victoria. They also have black steel wheels with stainless steel or chromed plastic hubcaps.
All Police Interceptors also come with T-409 stainless steel dual exhaust systems without resonators. Standard Crown Victorias come with a stainless steel single exhaust system, while the Handling and Performance Package and LX Sport-equipped Crown Victorias have the same exhaust system as the Police Interceptor, with the resonators. Police Interceptors have higher-rate coil springs, approximately 0.8 inches (20.3 mm) of additional ground clearance, and thinner rear antiroll bars (shared with the LX Sport) than the Handling and Performance Package Crown Victorias; the base Crown Victoria does not have a rear antiroll bar.
On 2004 and newer models, P71s have a 200A alternator and a 78Ah battery.
INTERIOR
Police Interceptors came standard with manual cloth seats and a vinyl rear seat. The gap between seats is generally filled by a console holding radios, controls for emergency equipment, large firearms, and often a laptop computer or mobile data terminal (MDT). Walmart sells a 4-cup center console in tan and grey, that fits in here perfectly. The Police Interceptor also has a calibrated 140mph (225 km/h) speedometer.
