Vehicle Description
Well built and loved obs power stroke 7.3 with only 155,000 miles. I’m the second owner first owner bought it new from Frontier Ford in 1997 and had it down by Olympia for the past 25 years. He took excellent care of it and I brought it back home to Anacortes the beginning of this year. I updated a lot of parts to bring it up to date. It’s now a comfortable well behaved modern rig with the classic looks. Power lumbar black leather captains chairs front and back (night and day comfort compared to stock seats) custom center console and stereo (this may be negotiable in sale) led interior lighting power inverter to charge devices new batteries red head steering box and new column, (one finger steering perfect alignment) ball joints, reverse shackle kit with all new springs and bilstien shocks designed for this lift and truck (wife would not even ride in it when I bought it now a Cadillac ride) fuel 17” wheels cooper stt pro 35” tires (around 60% still) it fits 37s as well (previous owner had some on it) 4” mbrp exhaust k and n filter cac boots and turbo pedestal re work, Yakima heavy duty roof racks (I am keeping my sup racks and showdown kayak racks but will leave the crossbars) 4$k truck vault in bed storage (much nicer than plastic version) mag tek diff cover and service, this truck came with cruise control factory computer power windows locks rear slider brake controller upgraded curt tow package linex etc. I built some functional aluminum side step sliders that actually work and look decent for getting in and out and securing rooftop loads. It has x rated springs that were brand new when I did the rsk (read up on sky off-road or pmf rsk benefits) (adds another 1” to the 4” lift) truck sits nice and rides nice especially with truck vault in rear (a bit of weight) Have brackets to do 2016+ rear leafs just haven’t bothered as rides nice as is. None of the work or additions to this rig were easy or cheap and I paid a premium for this truck when I bought it. I looked for 6 months to find a low mile manual transmission well kept one owner. I am NOT going to give it away so don’t bother with any ridiculous offers. I would not be selling but commuting 200+ miles a day for work and a Tacoma or Subaru would suit my needs a bit better. I would consider a partial trade with a good amount of cash on your end (depending on year/miles/accessories) as long as it is a 4x4 and well taken care of regardless of year or miles (I am not interested in your 2wd pre runner sorry) will be a bit flexible on price if I keep my stereo and the truck vault but not much. If you are looking for a well sorted classic with modern upgrades this is the truck for you. I get compliments daily on “the Duke” .
