mini cooper s F57 Convertible with Jcw package.
Manual transmission,
Approx. 27k miles
Located in ronkonkoma,ny
I bought this car as a parts car (I wanted to buy a badly damaged cooper s and use all the body parts from that one)
But decided to go a different route.
The engine does turn over(with a different ecu since the original one is fried) I have a video, so it is good(I didn't tried to start it. The plugs and coils were out when I turned the engine over)
So it's either a parts car or rebuildable if you have all the electronics.
it does not run at the moment unless you replace the ecu, cluster and bcm.
Right now if you connect the battery the only thing that you'll see is warning light on, blower fan on(you cannot control it, it's just on) and you can fold/unfold the mirror that's it. Like I mentioned in the description I tried to turn over the engine with a different ecu and bcm and cluster, it did turn over. I did t want to take a chance and install the spark plug because I'm not 100% sure that all water was drained. I would definitely remove the Intercooler. The good ecu bcm and cluster has been removed since then
Please be aware that you're looking at a car that's normally worth $25k and you're trying to buy it for $5500 obviously there is plenty of work involved lol.
The reason I'm not doing it is that I would have to list it for $12k and I don't feel like dealing with people who will offer me $7k for it
