Of the various Shay's around almost none were automatic, 95 % were standard shifts. This is one of the rare ones with a Ford automatic transmission. The overall condition of this car is great. The paint is excellent throughout and has always been covered or garaged. This automobile creates the look of yesterday with the modern mechanics of today, featuring a 2300 over cam engine, auto transmission, front disc brakes rack and pinion front coil spring suspension, modern electrical system and much more. As far as Shay's go this is the super deluxe and is the best of the 3 models made. This is a car that can be displayed with pride and admiration, shown and enjoyable to drive.
