Used 1934 Ford 2-Dr Sedan for sale in Millington, MI

1934 Ford 2-Door Sedan which was found in a barn in 2001 where it had sat for about forty years. The original motor had previously been replaced in about 1960 with a 1953 Oldsmobile "Rocket 88" motor. This motor has 303 cubic inches producing 135 horsepower and is the forerunner to the small block Chevy engine. It can still be considered a "vintage engine" in a "vintage car". The transmission and rear end are original to the car. The interior of the car is 'very rough' with mice having had a field day in it for forty years. The original fiber top was replaced...including the 'chicken wire'. The body is solid overall but does have some rusted areas that will require attention and can be seen in the photos. The louvered hood is in great shape. The chrome members, bumpers and grill, are all rusty but straight and could be re-chromed and made shiny again. The cowl lights need to be reinstalled. New tires were put on back in 2003 but have very few miles on them. Wheels are not original. The car has only been driven to area car shows, parades, and local cruises. The car is not pretty but is "Steel and Real". This is not a "Look, but please don't touch" kind of car. It has received more than its share of "looks" from car show enthusiasts and many have been invited, by me, to sit behind the wheel and have pictures taken. The old car has been shown on three area television stations and appeared on a Detroit area 'car dreamers' website for about five years. You could use it the same way I have or restore it as you see fit. It would make a great winter project.
