Used 1937 Ford Custom for sale in Volo, IL
Only 3,792 miles since built. Very high quality top to bottom, in and out. Slick looking with an interior that pops!
EXTERIOR: Very high quality Downs body. It is laser straight, panels fit nice. The paint is like a mirror, you can read a newspaper in the reflection. All the trim, moldings and handles were deleted for a clean look. Has a chopped 3 window roof, suicide doors and a great stance. It is slammed down and has bigger tires in the rear. Great looking aluminum wheels with spinners. Taillights are flush mounted in the body including a third brake light below the rear window. All new tinted glass. The doors open with remote, trunk is a power lift, hood opens uniquely from the rear. When the car is started the license plate flips down automatically.
INTERIOR: It's a stunning red interior, it hits ya when you open the door. Bright red leather upholstery throughout. Nice contoured seat with center armrest. Door panels have a custom design that wraps around the back. All wrapped in leather. Even the floors and dash are leather. Overhead it does have a tweed like headliner. The dash has a very clean look. Heat and headlight controls, ignition are hidden underneath. Has digital gauges. Speakers are behind perforated holes in the leather. Behind the seat has plenty of room and a CD changer. Has custom tweed floormats.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is slick! Completely decked out in polished aluminum, gleaming chrome and glass finish black paint. It runs a 350 ZZ-4 motor with a chromed tune port injected system on top. Has air conditioning with polished compressor. The heater hoses are even polished stainless. The firewall is smooth high gloss black without clutter.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk has been boxed and upholstered to match the interior. There is a compartment where the battery is housed. It is a power lift with a nice billet hinge.
UNDERSIDE: Looks new, because it is! The floor is satin black, chassis is gloss. Front suspension is all new. Has disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, sway bar. Bottom of motor is spotless, chrome starter and flywheel cover. The trans is a TCI street fighter turbo 350. Has external oil cooler. New driveshaft hooked to a Ford 9 inch rear. Has 3.10 gears for highway cruising. New power brake booster mounted under the car. Stainless pipes from the motor to the Flowmaster mufflers. Has some nice flared stainless tips out the back. In back it has leaf springs, new shocks and a sway bar. New fuel tank and sending unit.
This really is a slick looking hot rod, it will attract attention. When you open the door....bam! The bright red hits ya. Open the hood.....bam! The polished parts hit ya. But the most fun is being behind the wheel and cruising.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
