Under the hood is a proven Chevrolet LT-1 V8 fuel injected engine mated to a GM 4L60-E automatic transmission. The truck steers by way of a rack and pinion system. A few modern touches include power door locks, power windows, power tonneau cover, Vintage A/C, and Auto Meter gauges. A hand emergency brake has been installed. The braking is done by front disc brakes; rear drum brakes. In the cab it has a tilt steering column, making getting in and out of the track a breeze.
