BODY/PAINT: All original steel body with extensive modifications to include: Rain gutters removed, door handles remove, hidden hinges for both doors and the trunk lid, trunk lid opens to the right side rather than the top as original, rear fenders and rear valance have been welded in and smoothed rather than being bolted on with welt cord between the fender and body, gas cap lid in left rear fender removed and filled, running boards welded in and smoothed,Front fenders and grill and grill sides welded together smoothed and made into a one piece tilt forward front clip. Don's Hot Rods front grill and grill sides. 1937 Woodie /Cabriolet windshield wiper transmissions in front cowl rather than in the top above the windshield.Car was painted 2 tone, silver and blue with purple ghost flames in the front fenders and a purple pinstripe at the silver and blue paint line. DETAILING: The entire frame is black powder coated. The frame is an aftermarket Heidts . The under body is painted blue to match the lower exterior of the car. Over 100 holes were welded and filled in the firewall to smooth and detail the firewall.Trunk is painted silver to match the upper body. Inside of the front clip is textured and painted silver to match the upper body. STERIO AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT: Audio system consists of a Blaupunkt AM?FM?CD unit, Kenwood subwoffer and Blaupunct speakers. Other electronics include a Dakota Digital remote control system for the air ride suspension. A StreetWorks Lucky 7 remote control system for opening the doors, opening and closing the power trunk operator and opening and closing the front clip of the car. ENGINE/TRANSMISSION: The engine is a 427 cu.in. stroked 351 Ford Windsor and includes forged stroked crankshaft, rods and pistons. Balanced reciprocating engine components. Melling high volume oil pump. Ported, polished and cubic inch matched iron cylinder heads with all new hardware. Crane camshaft. Edelbrock chrome/polished "Air Gap" intake manifold. Holly 4 barrel carburetor. MSD billet distributor. Billet Specialties "True Trac" pulley system. Billet Specialties ball milled valve covers. Chrome oil pan. The intent of the engine appearance is to have everything but the block and heads to be either Billet aluminum, stainless steel or chrome. Transmission is a Ford A4OD completely overhauled and upgraded clutch pack, mild shift kit and painted as the engine to match the exterior of the car.Shifting is accomplished with an "I-Did-It" tilt aand telescoping aluminum column and a shift cable. Extensive fabrication was involved to accomplish the column shift due to the firewall location and shape. This is one of only two 1937 Ford sedans that I know of with an automatic column shift. FRAME/CHASSIS: The frame is a Heidts aftermarket unit. Front suspension ia a late model Mustang II with tubular 'A' arms, chrome/polished power rack and pinion and all stainless steel components between the rack and steering column. 11 inch brake rotors and GM calipers. Suspension is air bags, leaf and col springs with shock absorbers. Rear suspension is a Currie/Ford 9 inch with 3.70 to 1 gears. Rear suspension is modified leaf springs with air bags and shock absorbers. Driveshaft is a custom all aluminum unit. wheels are custon one off built per my specifications from Newstalgia (Boyd Coddington). Fronts are 16 x 7, rears are 18 x 8. Tires are BFG "G force" ADDITIONAL FEATURES: Vintage Air air conditioning / heat unit with all electric controls. Billet Specialties power steering reservoir, Gotta show all stainless steel braided hoses for the heater hoses, air conditioning, and power steering. All fittings are stainless steel. Rochy Hinge Inc. power actuator for the trunk. Dakota Digital electronic cooling fan controller for the engine fan. Dual AutoLOc electric power linear actuators for the front clip. MSD 6A electronic ignition with a MSD distributor. JEG's small case hi-torque starter. Billet Specialties Tru Trac pully/bracket system for the engine to include the small Saginaw (Corvette style) power steering pump, Sanden AC compressor, Powermaster 100 amp alternator. Optima battery. Hidden battery shut off switch.Air ride system to include an aluminum reservoir tank and 2 chrome air pumps. Dakota Digital remote control digital height control for the air ride. Custom wiring harness to include an Enos "Black Box" fuse panel, all custom labeled wiring from Watsons StreetWorks, custom relayed circuits for the ignition, headlights, trunk opener and front clip tilt mechanism.Chassis Engineering custom motor mounts. Billet aluminum ball joint caps. All stainless steel fasteners throughout the vehicle. Daystar Products bump stops for all 4 corners of the suspension. Raceware custom aluminum radiator with a chromed plastic electric fan. Chrome brake master cylinder and power boost unit. All stainless steel brake lines and stainless steel braided hoses. Custom dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers, aluminized pipe, Gibson stainless steel exhaust tips and coated Sanderson headers.
