1940 Chevrolet ½ Ton Pick Up You are viewing a very nice fully restored truck to primary stock condition with a couple of modifications. The truck was finished one year ago with only 200 miles or so driven since finished. The truck runs and drives excellent and is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner. Please read on for more particulars of the truck: Body/Paint: All original steal with a few small patch panels where needed. The body is very nice and straight. The paint is base/clear coat two stage Vermillian red and black. Shows very nicely. New wiring front to back. Interior: The interior is restored to stock. Heater works, odometer and speedo don’t work at this time. Floor starter as original, no radio. Running Gear: Original 6 cylinder engine that runs excellent. 41 Ford 1 ton 4 speed installed with compound low to replace the 3 speed. Shifts as it should. Stock rear end. Converted to 12 volt with alternator. Original crank starter handle goes with the truck Suspension: Frame and suspension restored including the king pins. Bright work: Some rechromed with other smaller items like the door handles as original with some patina. The grill is really nice. Bumpers are painted silver. Glass : All new tinted glass Exhaust: New exhaust. Brakes: Restored as stock. Wheels/Tires: Wheels are nice with stock caps that are original and unrestored, but presentable. Spare also has a cap. Tires are new radials so it drives much better than bias tires. Summary: Nice truck and ready to drive and enjoy. Needs nothing.
