The gentleman we purchased this car from did the complete restoration himself. There was lots of metalwork that went into the build. The chassis was custom-made using 2 x 4" steel. The fenders are all 1 inch lower and have a rolled metal seem on the opening to prevent cracking. The headlights are french'd in from a mini Cooper, and the tail lights are french'd in from a '39 Ford. The front bumperettes are from a 1956 Corvette. The front grill was hand built with the turn signals molded in the upper corners. This car is an exceptionally nice build, the bottom is silver like the top, and was sprayed with a hard material first, then painted the silver over top of it. The exhaust was custom-made and is in an aluminum casting. The interior features power seats, power glove box control, and the steering wheel is a custom built tilt wheel with turn signals in the center of the wheel. Electric door poppers are in each of the front wheel wells. The sound system is a Bose system from a Lincoln and was specifically re-programmed for this vehicle. Powering this beast is a Ford 4.6 Liter DOHC 32 Valve Fuel Injected V8 partnered up with a Ford Tremec 5 Speed Manual Transmission and Posi Rear End.
