Vehicle Description
Harley Earl designed the iconic 1941 Cadillac Series 61, a beautiful example of true art deco design. This fabulous survivor, known as "Elsie Lee," was purchased from Florida by a collector and has spent the bulk of the last 20 years tucked away in a garage in Maryland. She's a pretty original and complete car, with a (we think original) black exterior and gray cloth interior. Her 346 cubic inch flat head V8 runs like a sewing machine. She also comes with a Hydramatic automatic transmission. Recently used, she moves smoothly and has a many new parts, including her master brake cylinder, 4 new wheel cylinders, new front brake lines, a new fuel tank, a new fuel pump, a new fuel filter, new spark plugs, and a new coil. She also has new plug wires (which have not been installed - she doesn't seem to need them). Elsie Lee is loads of fun. She has some minor surface rust on her frame and chassis, and her paint has some checking and chipping in some spots. Lots of patina, she's been well-loved. Clear Montana title.
