Vehicle Description
1948 Lincoln Continental, 2 door, original 305 CID V-12 engine with three speed synchromesh manual transmission. Same owner for last 50 years. Rebuilt engine and transmission runs smooth and quiet. Completely restored 20 years ago. Upon completion of restoration, this car received 1st place from Classic Car Club of America. It is badged and has the original documentation showing the award. All chrome and trim is show quality. Regal Blue paint still shows well and has a brilliant shine. red Leather and tan cloth interior matches the factory specifications. Nice sheet metal with no bondo. Underside frame and floors very solid. Engine compartment nicely detailed. Beautiful trunk. Well maintained over the years. The car starts, runs and drives great. All electrical, gages, lights, turn signals, brake lights, speedometer, odometer, horn, original radio work. Clock does not work. Wide whitewall tires has plenty of tread life left. Not many of these 12 cylinder cars left. This car is designated a full classic by the Classic Car Club of America and will appreciate in value in the coming years.
