Some were imported into the U.S. at the conclusion of WWII but stuttered in sales as due to its lack of power and personnel capacity. The 60's saw many converted to "Gassers" and soon they were sprinting down the 1/8 mile in an assortment of configurations. This beauty was found in North Georgia after spending most of its life in the dry area of Texas from which it still carries a title.
