Used 1949 Dodge Wayfarer for sale in Cadillac, MI

1949 Dodge Wayfarer 2 Door 'Business Coupe'. Original Flat head 6 cyl engine, 3 speed trans. Runs and drives. Still original 6 volt. All original. Complete new original brake system replaced. New original fuel system. Complete rebuilt original radio. Added fuse block to wiring system. Have replacement original 49 rear glass (cost $700) for broken rear glass. Interior looks good as seen in photos. Most of the body work is done. Work still needed is to finish the LT rocker (replacement panel already welded in, lower inner RT door bottom panel (have replacement panel), and the rear lower trunk seal panel (have panel). There are also a few small rust spots on the bottom of the RT front fender and RT rear fender front that will need work, Floors are solid and original. I have some of these photos posted as well as one photo of the car when I bought it and before work started. I also have additional photos showing the work needed and the floors and wheel wells in good shape, but could not fit on CL. Bumpers trim pieces are off the vehicle for bodywork to be done. Good solid car for a '49. Missing the four long side trim pieces that go on the front and rear fenders. They are avail on ebay. The original top to the air cleaner is in the trunk. Replaced temporarily with aftermarket top for better air flow. This model only made 1949 - 1952. Great looking cars and not that easy to find.
