Vehicle Description
We are proud to offer this 1951 Chevrolet Belair 2 -door hardtop for sale. The Belair is in great condition for its age. The six cylinder engine runs great. The engine starts easily and idles perfectly, it does not skip or misfire. The 3 speed manual column shifts smooth and accurately. The clutch doesn't skip or chatter. The brakes on the car are excellent. No pulling or pulsation. The tires all match and have about 85% of their tread left. The factory dual exhaust on the car is fairly new and they have a good sound. The electrical system is still 6 volt but can be converted easily. This car has been kept original. The body of the Chevy is very solid. There are no dents or dings. There is no visible rust on the exterior, but there is some minor rust on the underside of the rocker panels. Its not major, but needs to be mentioned. All the glass is in good shape with the exception of the driver's side rear window has a small crack. The chrome on the car is in good shape, some pitting here and there but not terrible. The interior of the car is very nice. The fenderskirts add to the beauty of this car. The seats are in great shape, no rips or tears. The headliner is like new, as are the door panels and carpets. The Chevy still has the original radio but is inoperative. All the gauges, fuel, voltage and temperature operate correctly. As do the wipers, headlamps and brake lights. Overall the Chevrolet is a very nice car. Everything operates and functions correctly on the Chevrolet and could easily be a dependable daily driver. You won't be disappointed!
